YAY I’m a Finalist

I entered my poem “Last Attempt” in the World Poetry Movement and made it to the semi-finals. Which is pretty exciting. 😀 I’m supposed to have my poem published in their book Stars in our Hearts but I haven’t gotten it yet. They only accept amateur poets and the poem has to be 30 lines or so, but totally worth it. Click on the link if you interested. I’ll keep you posted.

I never really got why some people were always plugged in to their ipods, but I am now seeing this in a new light. I was pretty upset today, ya know how it is with family, but I started listening to music and I calmed right down. Music is culture, everyone has some type and some favorite. It can calm you down, fire you up, sound good, get stuck in your head, or get you over a breakup. So this is me saying “Turn up the volume!”.
